Christina was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Grand Canyon University in 2008. She worked at St Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center on the inpatient pediatric unit from 2008-2011, then transferred to Phoenix Children’s Hospital and has worked as an acute inpatient RN on the inpatient rehab/medical surgical unit from 2011 until present, where she still works as a PRN nurse due to strong connections with the patient population and enjoys the hands on clinical aspect of nursing. She obtained her MSN through a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Maryville University in St, Louis, MO in December of 2022. She made the decision to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner due to loving the educational aspect as well as patient advocacy and community outreach, hoping to help optimize patients’ and families’ overall health and well-being.
In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, and attending baseball and football games, as well as attending all of her children’s activities such as dance, karate, and baseball.
