Dr. Gosnell is married to Dr. Ronald Gosnell, also with DVPeds. They have one daughter.
Dr. Heather Gosnell is from Maryland, just outside of Washington, DC. She attended the University of Maryland, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 and graduated with honors. She then joined the United States Air Force and attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. She graduated from medical school in 1998. In 2001, she completed her residency with the USAF at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. During residency, she met and married her husband, Dr. Ron Gosnell, also of Desert Valley Pediatrics. The couple was then stationed together at Luke Air Force Base, AZ. She also served as the local child abuse expert from 2001-2008 at Lackland AFB and Luke AFB. She completed her USAF commitment in 2008 and went on to join Desert Valley Pediatrics. She has thoroughly enjoyed working with the children and families in the west valley. She looks forward to many more years to come! Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Gosnell enjoys spending time with her family, archery, hiking, and skiing.
