Dr. Lindsay Campbell was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She attended Wagner College in New York and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 1979. After working as a registered nurse and then clinical nurse specialist in pediatrics and neonatal intensive care , she decided to pursue a career as a physician. She completed her pre-medical studies at the University of Arizona. She earned her medical degree at UHS/ The Chicago Medical School in 1991.
Dr. Campbell completed a residency in Pediatrics at UT Southwestern/Children’s Medical Center Dallas in 1994 and served as co-chief resident 1994-1995.
After a year in private practice in Fort Worth, Texas, she and her husband relocated to Phoenix, Arizona.
Dr. Campbell was a staff pediatrician at Phoenix Children’s Hospital where she was teaching staff for the pediatric residency program and University of Arizona clinical faculty director for the Pediatric clerkship in Phoenix. She was named the University of Arizona clinical faculty member of the year for 1997-98.
Dr. Campbell has been married to Orthopedic hand surgeon Peter Campbell, MD for twenty five years.
Dr. Campbell was in private practice in Phoenix for sixteen years before joining DVP.
Dr. Campbell is excited to join DVP in 2017 and continue her passion for caring for children and their families.
